TRENTON, NJ – On Thursday, May 18, 2023, at approximately 4:00 pm, an unidentified individual attempted to steal a vehicle from a 63-year-old male. The incident occurred on the 2200 block of Trenton Avenue.
The victim was seated inside his vehicle when the suspect approached, opened the driver’s door, and demanded the vehicle keys, brandishing an unknown object. After the victim complied, the suspect tried but failed to start the vehicle. He subsequently exited the vehicle and was last seen running south on Trenton Avenue towards Susquehanna Avenue.
The suspect was reportedly operating a late model Chrysler 200 sedan. Further investigations are underway.
