Agitated Customer Faces Gun Charges After Disturbance At AT&T Store

POTTSTOWN, PA – On Friday, North Coventry Township Police Department arrested Michael Kirlew, a 32-year-old man from Pottstown, in response to a disturbing incident that took place on May 19 at the AT&T Store on 1108 Town Square Road.

Kirlew was reported to have entered the store while carrying two handguns, demanding for his phone issues to be resolved.

The officers issued an arrest warrant on May 26, and Kirlew agreed to turn himself in later the same day. He now faces charges, including Carrying Firearms Without a License, Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, Disorderly Conduct, Harassment, Possession of Weapon, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. He is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
