Trenton, NJ – In response to an unprecedented jackpot of $2.094 million for tonight’s drawing, James A. Carey, the Executive Director of the New Jersey Lottery, is urging eager participants to secure their tickets as early as possible to increase their chances of claiming this large prize.

Carey, enthusiastic about the growth of the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot in recent drawings, believes that a lucky New Jersey Lottery player will soon seize the substantial reward.

“The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot has been steadily increasing, making it the largest ever recorded for this particular game,” stated Carey. “Given that the game is drawn daily, this astounding jackpot is sure to make today a bustling day for our retailers.”

Carey emphasized that the jackpot had not reached such heights since October 15, 2022, when it stood at $1.93 million. Since that date, an impressive 54 jackpot wins have occurred, including a remarkable $1.4 million jackpot on April 20 of this year. The current jackpot easily surpasses the previous record set on January 23, 2021, which stood at $2.033 million.
