Police seeking supermarket groping suspect

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department seeks public assistance in identifying an individual connected with a forcible touching incident in the 61 Precinct. The incident occurred at 1509 Sheepshead Bay Road at the Portokali Gourmet Market on Wednesday, May 3, ataround 1:15 am.

A 43-year-old woman reported that an unidentified male grabbed her buttocks and forcibly kissed her on the mouth before fleeing on foot. She sustained no physical injuries from the incident.

The suspect is a man of medium complexion, approximately 30 years old, 5’10” tall, and 160 pounds. He has medium-length dreads and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and black lace-up boots. The New York City Police Department requests anyone with information to come forward.
