EPHRATA, PA – Brandon S. Dasilva, a 29-year-old resident of Ephrata, has been charged by the Ephrata Police with possession of child pornography, criminal use of a communication facility, and failure to comply with registration requirements.

These charges were issued on Tuesday.

The Ephrata Police and the Lancaster County Computer Crimes Task Force acted on a tip received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children late last year.

The investigation, which led to Dasilva’s residence, revealed child pornography on his phone, along with other violations related to communication facility use and registration requirements. Dasilva is currently being held at the Lancaster County Prison for a probation violation.
