PITTSBURGH, PA — Two men, Steven Bryant Jr., 28, and Gaj Walker, 32, face charges of aggravated assault after a shooting incident in McKees Rocks last Thursday. The Allegheny County Police Department reported that the suspects led law enforcement on a vehicular pursuit following the shooting on Bell Avenue at Hay’s Manor.
Bryant, the driver, also faces charges of aggravated assault to a law enforcement officer, criminal conspiracy, and attempting to elude a police officer, among others. Law enforcement was called to the scene just before 2 p.m., where they found a victim in stable condition who was then taken to a local hospital.
A chase ensued after the suspects fled the scene in a white Audi sedan. During the pursuit, the driver allegedly nearly hit an officer, prompting officers to fire at the vehicle. The chase ended in Robinson Township, where both men were apprehended in the woods.
During the arrest, Bryant sustained a gunshot wound to his arm and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Walker was arrested without further incident.
