DOUGLASS TOWNSHIP, PA – Late Saturday night, Douglass Township Police responded to a shooting incident involving two juvenile males at 84 Wilcox Rd, Douglass Township.
Upon arrival, police found one of the juveniles with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, and the other had sustained injuries to the shoulder and knee. Both boys were transported to the Reading Hospital and Trauma Center and are expected to recover.
The Douglass Township Police, alongside the Berks County Detectives Unit, are currently investigating the shooting, deeming it an isolated event with no apparent danger to the public.
