NEW YORK, NY – A suspect has been arrested and charged in relation to an ongoing investigation into a robbery and shooting incident that took place on Sunday, June 4. The arrest occurred on Monday at 12:30 PM in the afternoon in Brooklyn.

The suspect, identified as Anthony Aaron, a 26-year-old male was taken into custody by the NYPD.

The charges filed against him include attempted murder, robbery, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and reckless endangerment.

At approximately 4:57 AM on June 4, an unidentified male entered the 7-Eleven store located at 110 Church Street. Once inside, the suspect took property belonging to the store. As he attempted to leave the premises, store employees confronted him. In response, the suspect fired a gun through the storefront window before fleeing the scene on foot. The suspect was last seen heading towards the World Trade Center PATH train station.
