Attempted Armed Robbery Reported in Germantown

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – The 5th District Investigative Section of the Montgomery County Department of Police is investigating an attempted armed robbery that took place in the 19200 block of Cross Ridge Dr on Thursday, May 25.

Two male suspects reportedly approached the victim, brandishing handguns, and demanded his property. However, the suspects fled the scene without taking anything.

Both suspects are described as Black males aged between 17 and 18 years. The first suspect is approximately 5-feet, 8-inches, to 5-feet, 9-inches tall, wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, and red and black sneakers. The second suspect is about 5-feet, 6-inches, to 5-feet, 9-inches tall, also in a black sweatshirt, black pants, but with yellow and black sneakers.
