Brooklyn Man Arrested Following Knife Threats to Officers

BROOKLYN, MD – Early Wednesday morning, Anthony E. Wrenn, a 34-year-old Brooklyn resident, was taken into custody after allegedly threatening officers with a folding knife.

At approximately 2:45 a.m., officers on routine patrol encountered Wrenn walking in the middle of the roadway near Hammonds Lane and Upland Road in Brooklyn.

After a brief chase on foot, Wrenn was located in a nearby parking lot. As officers approached, Wrenn displayed a knife and allegedly made threats toward the officers. Following verbal commands, Wrenn discarded the knife and was arrested without further incident.
