BUFFALO, NY – Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn recently revealed that 35-year-old Richard C. Frazier of Buffalo faced arraignment before Erie County Court Judge Kenneth Case on Friday. The charges levied against Frazier include Attempted Assault in the First Degree, two counts of Assault in the Second Degree, and one count of Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent or Disabled Person in the First Degree.
On April 14th, at around 11:00 p.m., Frazier reportedly attacked a 29-year-old man on East Utica Street in Buffalo, striking him repeatedly with his fists and a wooden board. The victim was found unconscious the following morning with injuries to his head and jaw and was transported to ECMC for urgent medical care. The man is still recuperating from his serious injuries.
Frazier, who is held without bail, is scheduled to appear in court for a pre-trial conference on Monday, July 17, at 2:00 p.m. If convicted on the highest charge, he could face a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
