Ocean City police investigating animal cruelty incident

OCEAN CITY, MD -The Ocean City Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in an ongoing animal cruelty investigation. The incident occurred in the 10 block of 77th Street, where a group of males unlawfully entered a privately fenced-in koi pond at a residence.

The incident took place at approximately 2:47 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023.

Authorities have released photos of the suspects involved and are urging anyone who can identify them to come forward.
