Anne Arundel County teacher charged for explicit messages to students

EDGERTON, MD – On Wednesday, Karl Houston Walls, a 27-year-old Edgerton resident and teacher at Northeast High School, was charged by the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Child Abuse Unit. The charges follow a series of allegations dating back to May of this year, where Walls was accused of sexually explicit interactions with two students.

According to the report, Walls allegedly sent explicit text messages and images to the victims, some incidents occurring on school grounds. He also reportedly solicited explicit content from the students, and had sexual contact with them. In one instance, Walls is said to have brandished a knife against one of the victims.
