Monsey Man Pleads Guilty to Second-Degree Kidnapping

MONSEY, NY – On Thursday, Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II announced that Jonathan Abikzer, a 31-year-old Monsey resident, has pleaded guilty to second-degree kidnapping. The charge pertains to an incident that occurred on August 16, 2022, in the Town of Haverstraw. Judge Larry J. Schwartz presided over the plea, and as part of the disposition, Abikzer will serve a seven-year sentence in State Prison.

The Haverstraw Police Department carried out the investigation, leading to Abikzer’s arrest and subsequent guilty plea.
