PHILADELPHIA, PA – Attorney General Michelle Henry announced on Friday the arrest and charge of five men for alleged sexual assault and exploitation of minors. All accused and victims were identified as members of Jehovah’s Witnesses congregations.

The men, namely David Balosa of Philadelphia County, Errol William Hall of Delaware County, Shaun Sheffer of Butler County, Terry Booth of Panama City, FL, and Luis Ayala-Velasquez of Berks County, are now facing prosecution by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General for different offenses relating to the sexual abuse of minors.

Attorney General Michelle Henry expressed her office’s commitment to seek justice for the victims and prosecute anyone harming society’s most vulnerable. The defendants’ crimes are reportedly linked to their faith communities, where they had access to their victims.

The charges have been filed in the defendants’ respective counties of Philadelphia, Delaware, Butler, Allegheny, and Northampton.
