Scooter bandits strike again in armed E-bikejacking

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for public assistance to locate individuals in relation to a robbery incident. On Wednesday, May 17, around 05:45 AM, two unidentified males on a scooter accosted a 21-year-old man on his E-Bike. One of the individuals brandished a firearm and demanded the victim to surrender his E-Bike.

The two suspects, described as males of varying complexions and builds, fled the scene eastbound on 152 Street without causing any physical harm to the victim. The NYPD asked anyone with relevant information to reach out to Crime Stoppers Hotline or submit tips online.
