Youth Violence Strike Force Arrests Man on Drug Trafficking Charges

BOSTON, MA – Members of the Youth Violence Strike Force arrested Alex Mack, a 25-year-old resident of Randolph, on Thursday, at around 11:50 AM, on drug trafficking charges. The arrest occurred while officers were conducting an ongoing investigation in the area of Malcolm X Boulevard and Dudley Street.

Mack was observed entering a motor vehicle and starting to drive down Washington Street, despite not having an active driver’s license. After initiating a traffic stop, officers discovered multiple plastic bags containing substances believed to be Crack Cocaine and Fentanyl in an inventory search of the vehicle. The total weight of the Crack Cocaine was approximately 24 grams, and the Fentanyl was approximately 22 grams.

Mack was arrested without incident and is expected to be arraigned in court on charges of drug trafficking.
