Police Community Outreach Program Offers Fun and Games for Residents

GLOUCESTER TWP, NJ – Gloucester Township Police Department’s Community Outreach Truck (COT) is pleased to announce the continuation of its Summer Neighborhood Program for the week of July 17th to 20th. The COT will be visiting various locations during this period from 12:30 PM to 3 PM, providing an opportunity for community engagement and fun activities.

Here is the schedule of the COT’s locations for the week:

  • Monday, July 17: Tigerlily Lane Park, situated off Johnson Road
  • Tuesday, July 18: Gloucester Township Community Park, located off Hickstown Road
  • Wednesday, July 19: Noble Road, Revere Run Development
  • Thursday, July 20: Valleybrook Swim Club, situated at Fairway and Golfview Drives

Additionally, every Thursday night, from 4 PM to 7 PM, the GTPD COT will be present at the Gloucester Township Farmer’s Market held at Harwan Park in Downtown Blackwood, specifically at 32 South Black Horse Pike. The farmer’s market offers an opportunity to engage with local vendors and enjoy the community atmosphere.


Attendees can look forward to engaging in outdoor games such as corn-hole, football catch, and Frisbee toss. For those seeking indoor entertainment, the air-conditioned COT truck will offer video games to play with GTPD Officers.

Please note that the COT Summer Neighborhood Program will be on hold during the last week of July and the first week of August due to the Junior Police Academy. However, the COT will still be present at the GT Farmer’s Market on July 27th and August 3rd. The program will resume on August 7th. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
