SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY – Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney recently announced the indictment of eight individuals linked to a narcotics distribution ring.

The group, led by Eleomar Perez-Serrano, allegedly used the United States Postal Service to ship parcels containing cocaine from Puerto Rico to locations in Suffolk County and Nassau County on Long Island.

Between March 2022 and June, Perez-Serrano received several parcels believed to contain cocaine every few weeks. Upon receipt, he and his co-conspirators would distribute the drug throughout Suffolk County.

Search warrants executed on June 6, led to the recovery of drugs, equipment, and cash from several locations. The discovery included two kilograms of cocaine found in the apartment Perez-Serrano shared with Maria Nieves.

The defendants discussed making a daily profit of at least $2,000 from the street-level sales of cocaine in Suffolk County. This figure amounts to almost a quarter of a million dollars in profit during the time of the conspiracy.
