ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office collaborated with various organizations, including the Atlantic City Police Department (ACPD), Caesar’s Casino, Bally Casino, Veterans Affairs (VA), Volunteers of America (VOA), and Hope One, to conduct a Boardwalk Outreach Event Friday morning.

The event aimed to provide assistance and services to displaced individuals on the beach and boardwalk.

During the outreach efforts, one encampment of displaced individuals was discovered.

Several teams worked together to connect these individuals with detox/rehab services, as well as providing connections to MHJIS (Mental Health and Justice Information System) and PATH (Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness) Case management services through Jewish Family Service (JFS).
