Jersey Shore Weather Report: Thunderstorms Likely

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ – Today, at the Jersey Shore, there is a likelihood of showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms may bring gusty winds and heavy rainfall. The sky will be mostly cloudy, and the temperature will reach a high near 85 degrees.

A south wind of 5 to 10 mph is expected. The chance of precipitation is 60%, and there could be new rainfall amounts ranging between 1 and 2 inches.

Tonight, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 9 pm. The sky will be partly cloudy, and the temperature will drop to around 65 degrees.


The south wind of 5 to 10 mph will shift to the northwest after midnight. The chance of precipitation is 30%, and new precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are possible.

On Saturday, the weather will be mostly cloudy initially, gradually transitioning to sunny conditions.

The high temperature will be around 85 degrees, and a northwest wind of 5 to 10 mph is expected.
