Police Seeking Suspects in Liquor Store Smash and Grab

SILVER SPRING, MD – A commercial burglary at the Montgomery County Liquor and Wine store located on the 11200 block of New Hampshire Ave. is currently under investigation by the Investigative Section of the Montgomery County Department of Police.

The incident took place on Saturday, July 1, and detectives have released surveillance footage of six suspects, soliciting public assistance in their identification.

Reports show that six suspects arrived at the store in a black Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan and a black BMW 5-Series sedan around 5:49 a.m. They forced entry into the store, stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise, and fled in their vehicles.


Surveillance video of the store has provided detectives with a description of the suspects. Any information regarding the crime or the suspects should be reported to Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).

A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspects. Callers may remain anonymous.
