Animal Cop Jumps Into Water to Save Kitten

Seguin, Texas – A dedicated animal services officer swam into action to save a stranded kitten found precariously perched on a floating log in the Guadalupe River.

Field Supervisor Brendon Moore, in his full uniform, swam out into the river to reach the distressed kitten. The images captured the moment of the rescue, as Moore carefully carried the tiny feline back to the safety of the shore.

According to Seguin Animal Services, the kitten had been spotted stranded on a log floating downstream near a boat ramp, facing potential danger and isolation. Without hesitation, Officer Moore took it upon himself to embark on the rescue mission, ensuring the defenseless creature would not face harm or abandonment.

“There’s no telling how long it was on the log,” stated an animal services representative while speaking to KSAT-TV.

The kitten’s fate would likely have been bleak had it not been for the keen eyes of those who spotted the little one’s distress and the prompt response of Officer Moore.

Following the rescue, the kitten was taken to Seguin Animal Services, where it received the care and attention it needed.
