GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Gloucester Township Police Department reported two substantial arrests made during proactive crime operations in July. The operations led to the recovery of multiple firearms and large amounts of narcotics.

On the evening of July 15, a vehicle stop on the Black Horse Pike led to the discovery of two Glock handguns, high-capacity magazines, hollow point bullets, one .223 caliber semi-automatic (AR-15 Style) assault rifle, 426 grams of marijuana, 13 grams of MDMA, mushrooms, brass knuckles, and a scale.

Kerby Agenis, a 22-year-old resident of Philadelphia, and Kyree Wilson, a 23-year-old resident of Philadelphia, were both arrested and charged.

Five days later, on July 20, officers conducting proactive patrols near Edinshire Road, Sicklerville, found a loaded 9mm Luger handgun and a high-capacity magazine in a vehicle during a stop. The weapon was located between the driver’s seat and the center console, readily accessible to the accused, Hasan Chapman, a 23-year-old resident of Philadelphia, who was subsequently arrested.

These arrests are part of an enhanced patrol strategy initiated by the Gloucester Township Police Department in response to an uptick in motor vehicle thefts and break-ins.
