71-Year-Old Collingswood Man Busted with Lewd Images of Children

CAMDEN, NJ – Robert Giles, a 71-year-old resident of Collingswood, Camden County, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.

The admission was made before Chief U.S. District Judge Renée Marie Bumb in Camden federal court.

On April 15, 2022, FBI agents executed a search warrant at Giles’s residence, discovering electronic devices with over 45,000 unique files containing explicit images and videos of children being sexually abused.


The charge of possession of child pornography can result in a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of $250,000. Giles is set to be sentenced on Nov. 29.

Special agents of the FBI were recognized by U.S. Attorney Sellinger for their role in the investigation.
