BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – This September, Brick Township is set to host its first-ever Longest Table event, joining the ranks of cities and towns across the nation that have embraced this unique community gathering. The Longest Table is a community meal that aims to bring neighbors together for meaningful conversations about their town.

Mayor Crate will be the host of Brick’s 1st Annual Longest Table, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 23, at the Robert Anstett Cultural Arts Center on Herbertsville Road. In case of inclement weather, a rain date has been set for Sunday, September 24. The event will kick off at 1 pm.

The Longest Table event promises to be a delightful experience, featuring a buffet-style meal that fosters a sense of togetherness among the attendees. Alongside the scrumptious food, the gathering will offer engaging and thought-provoking conversations, all centered around the common theme of Brick Township.

The event is designed to accommodate approximately 200 attendees, and in the spirit of promoting civically minded discussions, guests should be at least 15 years old. While groups are encouraged to participate, individuals need not worry about being seated together for the duration of the event.

To attend Brick’s Longest Table, interested individuals are required to RSVP by sending an email to longesttable@bricktownship.net. The email should include the number of attendees, their names, and mailing addresses. Alternatively, those seeking more information about the event can call 732-262-1050.
