Four Charged for Guns, Drugs After Caught in Stolen Car in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – On Monday, Detectives Aaron Jones and Ivaylo Ivanov of the Atlantic City Police Department received a tip-off about a stolen Dodge vehicle.

The vehicle, reported stolen from Delaware County, Pennsylvania, was found at the rear of the 900 block of Atlantic Avenue.

Four men, Jervone Brooks, Trevor Brown, Abdul Ingram-Hopewell, and Antonio Ellis, were discovered dismantling the stolen vehicle and were subsequently arrested.


The investigation also led to the recovery of a handgun loaded with hollow-point ammunition, three grams of cocaine, and 17 bags of heroin hidden in a child car seat.

All four suspects face a range of charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of hollow-point ammunition, and theft, among others. Brooks, Brown, and Ingram-Hopewell were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility, while Ellis was released on a summons with a future court date.
