Two Arrested for Multiple Thefts in Seaford

SEAFORD, DE – The Delaware State Police have arrested two men in connection with a series of vehicle thefts in Seaford. The men, 41-year-old Roger Wilson of Laurel, and 32-year-old Jaquan Adkins of Millsboro, were apprehended following investigations that began in early June.

On Tuesday, June 7, troopers responded to a theft report from a residence on Baker Mill Road in Seaford. Two residents on the same road reported thefts from their unlocked cars, with stolen items including money, credit cards, and other belongings. A third report came in from nearby Spicer Court, where a car had been broken into, with a wallet and jewelry reported missing.

The stolen credit cards were later used to purchase equipment valued at nearly $3,200 from Lowe’s in Seaford. Surveillance video revealed Wilson and Adkins as the suspects, and both were later apprehended.


Wilson was taken into custody on Saturday, June 18 and charged with multiple felonies, including Unlawful Use of a Payment Card and Theft by False Pretense.

Adkins was arrested on Tuesday, July 26, and similarly charged with a range of offenses, including Theft Under $1,500 Where the Victim is 62 Years of Age or Older. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $9,200 secured bond on a probation violation capias.
