It’s A Great Day in New Jersey, Get Out and Enjoy it

JERSEY CITY, NJ – The weather across New Jersey will be exceptionally mild and dry today, allowing New Jerseyans a reprieve from the intense summer heat and humidity that has plagued the region for several weeks.

It’s a great day to get outside and do the things you might not have been able to do during the sweltering heat wave that just passed through.

Today, New Jersey can expect mostly sunny skies, accompanied by a pleasant high temperature of around 83 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind will be light, blowing from the northwest at speeds ranging from 3 to 8 mph.

As we move into the evening, there is a slight chance of showers, about 20 percent, before 11 pm. However, the skies will remain partly cloudy, and the temperatures will drop to a comfortable low of approximately 64 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind will shift to the north and pick up slightly, blowing at 6 to 8 mph.

Looking ahead to Tuesday, the weather will continue to be delightful. The day will be dominated by abundant sunshine, and the temperature will reach a high of about 81 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind will maintain a steady northern direction, with speeds around 7 mph.

Remember to stay prepared for any potential showers in the evening and make the most of the sunny conditions during the day.

Some ideas for today include going for a walk, visiting the Jersey Shore, exploring a park or wildlife area, Sandy Hook, outdoor gardens and outdoor dining at your favorite restaurant.
