Trooper Youth Week Kicks Off in Sea Girt

SEA GIRT, NJ – Earlier today, an enthusiastic group of young men and women from the 114th Trooper Youth Week Class gathered at the New Jersey State Police Academy to kick off their week-long training program.

Captain Michael Tierney, the esteemed Commandant of the New Jersey State Police Academy, warmly welcomed the class and delivered an inspiring address. He encouraged the aspiring troopers to give their best efforts, seize every learning opportunity, and leave the academy after a week as improved individuals compared to when they first set foot on the academy grounds.

Trooper Heather Dauber, the dedicated class coordinator, was introduced to the trooper youths. She shared valuable insights about the upcoming training days, highlighting the significance of hard work, determination, dedication, and the importance of having a little fun along the way.

The Trooper Youth Week Class promises to be an exciting and enlightening experience for these young participants as they embark on a journey to explore the world of law enforcement and gain valuable skills and knowledge under the guidance of seasoned professionals at the New Jersey State Police Academy.
