Woman Attacked, hair Pulled on Brooklyn Subway Train

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual involved in an attack that occurred within the confines of the 84th Precinct/Transit District 30.

According to the report, the incident occurred on Thursday, July 13, at around 6:00 PM, inside the Jay Street/Borough Hall subway station.

A 24-year-old female victim was on the Brooklyn-bound “A” train platform when an unidentified individual approached her. The individual pulled the victim’s hair and brandished a knife. Afterward, the individual fled the scene by boarding the next train.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
