NEW YORK CITY, NY – An unidentified male allegedly assaulted a 40-year-old female MTA conductor last Sunday, according to a report by the New York City Police Department.

The incident took place aboard a northbound “R” train at the Queens Boulevard and 71 Avenue subway station.

The report details that the male individual, who was standing on the platform, sprayed an unknown substance into the conductor’s face. This attack led to a burning sensation and irritation to her eyes. Following the assault, the man absconded on foot to an unknown location.

The New York City Police Department has provided a description of the sought individual. He is described as a male with a light complexion and thin build, and shoulder-length straight black hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue shorts, black socks, black Crocs, eyeglasses, and carrying a green and black book bag.

The New York City Police Department has released a surveillance photo of the male individual and asked anyone with relevant information to come forward.
