OCEAN CITY, NJN – The Jersey Shore is in for a sunny treat Thursday, with temperatures set to soar up to a comfortable 78 degrees Fahrenheit. The day will be accompanied by a gentle south wind of 5 to 10 mph, gradually picking up its pace to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

As the sun sets on Thursday, there’s a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms predicted after 3 am.

The night will remain partly cloudy, and the temperature is expected to hover around 72 degrees Fahrenheit. A slightly stronger south wind of 10 to 15 mph may bring a touch of coolness to the air. However, the chance of precipitation is relatively low at 20%.


Looking ahead to Friday, the weather will likely get more interesting.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms is anticipated earlier in the day, followed by showers that may continue into the evening, accompanied by a potential thunderstorm after 3 pm.
