YONKERS, NY – Earlier on Sunday, just before 10:45 AM, Yonkers Police units reported to a single-vehicle accident at 127 New Main Street.

The vehicle collided with three pedestrians: a 51-year-old female with a fractured leg, a 40-year-old pregnant woman with ankle injuries, and a 6-year-old boy with minor leg abrasions.

All are in stable condition after being transported to nearby hospitals.

There were two occupants in the vehicle, an adult and a child, neither of whom sustained injuries. The vehicle also hit the building at the mentioned address, but the structure was found to be sound after assessment by the Yonkers Fire and Building Departments.

Investigations revealed the driver was unlicensed and held only a Learner Permit. The driver and vehicle owner received summons for their respective violations.
