SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ – On one of his last visits to the Jersey Shore as Governor, Chris Christie got into it with MTV’s Jersey Shore star Snookie. This time, he’s looking for a fight with former President Donald J. Trump.

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has visited Seaside Heights again. It was his first major public appearance since the 2013 boardwalk fire after regular appearances in 2012 in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.

Now, he says, he’s ready to face Trump in his so-far flailing run for President of the United States. In a recent Reuters poll, the former governor polled at 0%.

“I was born ready,” Christie said as he walked down the Seaside Heights boardwalk.

Christie said the difference between himself and Trump during the first debate in Milwaukee will be that he will tell the truth and Trump will not.

Although some have speculated that Trump will not show up for the debate, Christie says he believes the former President will indeed be on the stage.

Christie said if Trump doesn’t how up, he’s a coward. Christie has centered his entire 2024 Presidential campaign around bashing the former President and has yet to offer Republicans any insight into his planned agenda and policies should he be elected president.

“Trump is a completely self-centered, self-possessed, self consumed, angry old man, and he doesn’t care about anybody else other than himself. If he becomes the President again, he will not be our retribution. He will be his own retribution,” Christie said earlier in the day.
