D.C. Shooting Claims Life of 31-Year-Old, Vehicle Sought by Police

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 31-year-old man was shot and killed on Friday evening in Northeast, D.C. The Homicide Branch of the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is reaching out to the public for help in locating a vehicle linked to the shooting.

Just after 6 pm, officers responded to a call about a shooting at the 900 block of Division Avenue. Once they arrived, they found an adult male victim who had been shot. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

Vincent Harvey, aged 31 and a resident of Temple Hills, Maryland, has been identified as the decedent.


The vehicle connected to the suspect is identified as a Ford Fusion of dark color. A nearby surveillance camera captured the vehicle.
