Eight New Jersey Mega Millions Winners Take $10k Prize

TRENTON – The Mega Millions drawing on Friday, August 4, 2023, brought forth eight fortunate individuals who matched four out of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball, claiming the coveted $10,000 third-tier prize. The winning tickets were purchased at the following New Jersey locations:

  • Atlantic County: Garden State Mini Mart, 7058 Black Horse Pike, Pleasantville;
  • Bergen County: Dollar Power, 880 River Rd., New Milford;
  • Bergen County: Welsh Farms, 715 River Rd., New Milford;
  • Camden County: Express Food Mart, 2701 Black Horse Pike, Sicklerville;

  • Camden County: Traino’s Wine & Spirits, 2999 E. Evesham Rd., Ste. 2, Voorhees;
  • Hudson County: Holland Service Center, 597 Marin Blvd., Jersey City;
  • Morris County: Country Farms, 87 Division Ave., Millington; and,
  • Ocean County: Doyle’s Pour House Tuckerton, 210 W. Main St., Tuckerton.

In addition to these third-tier winners, 159 players successfully matched four of the five white balls drawn, resulting in each ticket being valued at $500. Impressively, 20 of these tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to a generous $1,000.

The Mega Millions drawing further brightened the day for 261,869 other New Jersey players who secured prizes ranging from $2 to $400, collectively taking home an impressive $1,016,404.


The winning numbers for the Friday, August 4, drawing were: 11, 30, 45, 52, and 56. The Gold Mega Ball that clinched the third-tier prizes was 20, with an additional boost provided by the Megaplier Multiplier of 02.
