Another Beautiful Day at the Beach in New Jersey; Thunderstorms at Night

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ – Residents and visitors to the Jersey Shore can expect a mixed bag of weather conditions over the next couple of days.

Monday is set to be partly sunny with a high near 81°F. Light and variable winds are expected in the morning, becoming southeast at 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. It’s a promising start to the week for those looking to enjoy the beaches or other outdoor activities.

However, the weather will take a turn Monday Night, with showers and possibly a thunderstorm expected. The low will be around 73°F with a south wind at 5 to 10 mph. The chance of precipitation rises to 80%, with new rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible. Those planning evening outings may want to keep an eye on the forecast and have umbrellas at the ready.


Tuesday continues the wet trend with showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 a.m., followed by a chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the rest of the day. The high will be near 81°F with a southwest wind around 10 mph. The chance of precipitation remains at 80%, with new rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
