Fans of a popular YouTuber who hosted a pop-up rally at Union Square last week are being sought after damaging a personal vehicle during the upheaval that followed the event.

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying sixteen individuals connected to an incident that resulted in damage to a private vehicle.

On Friday, August 4, around 2:46 PM, these unidentified persons were captured on surveillance, climbing on and jumping atop an unoccupied 2011 BMW sedan. The vehicle was parked outside 15 Union Square West at the time of the event.

Images of the suspects taken from surveillance footage are available for viewing at DCPI and can be obtained from the NYPD. SNN will not post the photos due to copyright infringement threats from the photographers and lawyers who represent the photographers, unfortunately.

Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). For Spanish speakers, the number is 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
