CRANFORD — Demonstrating the importance of road safety, the Cranford Police Department recognized two cyclists for their safe biking habits in Downtown Cranford last week.

Officer Lynne Galvez spotted the safety-conscious pair, both of whom were appropriately wearing helmets while cycling. In appreciation of their commitment to safety, she presented each of them with a coupon for a complimentary pizza and drink.

The Cranford Police Department continues to urge all cyclists, especially those in the bustling Downtown area, to ride safely and always wear helmets. Such initiatives underscore the department’s focus on promoting safe practices in the community.
