Peddler’s Village in Lahaska to Host Scarecrow Season

Lahaska, PA – The renowned Peddler’s Village is gearing up for its Scarecrow Season, with a grand display of over 100 scarecrows set to open on September 11. The weekend of September 16-17 will witness the Scarecrow Festival, featuring scarecrow-making workshops, live entertainment, and more family activities.

Key Highlights:


  • Scarecrows in the Village Competition: Running for seven weeks, the public can view scarecrows created by local residents. Public voting is available via the Peddler’s Village app or paper ballots from September 11 to October 9, with the display ongoing until October 29. Cash prizes up to $300 await winners. Registration is open until September 6.
  • Scarecrow Festival (Sep 16-17): Alongside scarecrow workshops, the festival will have live music, pumpkin painting, axe throwing, and more. Advance registration is advised for scarecrow workshops. Full details available at PeddlersVillage.com. Additional workshops on September 23 and 30.

    • Food Truck Thursday on September 14.
