Calvert County Police Blotter: August 7-13, 2023

During the week of August 7–13, Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Deputies managed a total of 1,798 calls for service. The summary below highlights several notable incidents:

Damaged Property Incidents:

  • Holland Cliffs Road, Huntingtown: On August 7, DFC Sturdivant addressed a burglary complaint. An unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a residence, damaging the door frame. The estimated damage is valued at $300.
  • Parran Road and Bond Street, St. Leonard: A report from August 7 indicates that an unknown individual vandalized a vehicle, breaking its rear window and deflating all tires. Damages are estimated at $1,000.
  • Harris Teeter, Dunkirk: M/DFC Aurich responded to a theft report on August 7. A vehicle’s passenger window was shattered, the steering column damaged, and the ignition switch was removed. The value of the damages and stolen items remains undetermined.
  • Courtland Drive, Dunkirk: On August 9, DFC Newton investigated a vehicle break-in. The ignition was tampered with in an apparent attempt to steal the vehicle. Estimated damages are $1,000.

Theft Reports:


  • Parran Road, St. Leonard: DFC McCourt reported a stolen Ford F-150 on August 8. The vehicle was later located hidden in a nearby field, but the victim’s wallet, cash, and credit cards were missing. The investigation is ongoing.
  • Timberneck Drive, Owings: On August 11, Dep. Bowen addressed a theft involving approximately $1,800 worth of tools stolen from both a work truck and a driveway.
  • Chesapeake Beach community Center: A reported theft on August 11 involved a stolen black and red Nintendo Switch. The item is valued at $300.
  • 7-Eleven, Prince Frederick: On August 11, Deputy Smith responded to a theft where a suspect stole multiple VUSE Alto products, amounting to approximately $590.76.

Arrests:

  1. Xavier James Holloway, 19, of Lusby: Arrested on August 7 for failing to remain at the scene of an accident and causing bodily injury.
  2. Rochelle Shanekia Dowansingh, 35, of Queens, NY: Arrested on August 8 for theft and trespassing at Ulta Beauty in Prince Frederick.
  3. Gino Jacquesz Williams, 22, of Washington D.C.: Arrested on August 8 for possession of contraband and a weapon while confined.
  4. Robert Allen Rice, 57: Arrested on August 10 for trespassing and indecent exposure at Joann Fabrics & Crafts in Prince Frederick.

DUI Arrests (August 7–13):

  1. Kimberly M. Foster, 55, of Lusby – Arrested by Dep. J. Smith on August 10.
  2. Austin P. Pullman, 33, of Owings – Arrested by Dep. T. Bowen on August 13.
