Bayonne Man Arrested for Multiple Incidents of Criminal Sexual Contact

BAYONNE, NJ – The Bayonne Police Department Detective Bureau, after an extensive investigation, arrested Bryan Christopher Poinson, 40, from Jersey City, on August 10.

Poinson is connected to multiple reported acts of criminal sexual contact spanning from November 22, 2019.

The victims, ranging from 36 to 60 years old, reported being approached from behind and subjected to inappropriate contact.


In each case, the assailant would flee the scene shortly after the incidents. After the culmination of the investigation, Poinson was identified as the culprit of all reported incidents.

He has been charged with 5 counts of criminal sexual contact. Individuals who might have had similar encounters with Poinson are asked to get in touch with the Bayonne Police Detective Bureau.
