Two Shot In Southwest D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The D.C. Metro Police Department is asking for help from the public to identify a suspect connected to a shooting that took place on Thursday in Southwest D.C. that left two injured.

Officers responded to the 1300 block of Half Street around 6:41 pm after receiving reports of gunshots. Upon arriving at the scene, they found evidence of a shooting. The investigation led to the discovery of two potential victims, who were taken to local hospitals for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening.

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect. Those who have any information about this suspect or incident are advised not to take any action but to call the police immediately at (202) 727-9099 or send a tip by texting the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
