35-Year-Old Charged for Violent Attack

HURLOCK, MD – In the early hours of Monday, at around 2:28 am, a victim reported an assault at the Cambridge Police Department (CPD).

The assault occurred at a residence in the 600 block of Bradley Ave. The victim stated that Andre Luther Woolford, 35 years old, had assaulted them by grabbing their face, throwing them to the ground, and punching them.

After reporting the incident to the Court Commissioner, an arrest warrant for Woolford was issued. Woolford was located by officers at approximately 5 am on the same day and was taken into custody.


He was then taken to CPD for processing and an initial court appearance. Woolford is currently held at the Dorchester County Department of Corrections on no bond. He faces two counts of second-degree assault.

The Cambridge Police Department is processing this case as part of their ongoing investigations into assault-related crimes in the area.
