45-Year-Old Arrested for Attempted Murder

CHICAGO, IL – Jorge Arroyo, 45, residing on the 2100 block of Grove Ave., Berwyn, Illinois, has been charged with one felony count of Attempt – Murder – First Degree and one felony count of Aggravated Battery/Use of a Deadly Weapon.

Arroyo was arrested by members of the Chicago Police Department and the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force on August 22 in the 6700 block of W Cermak in Berwyn. He was identified as the assailant who stabbed and seriously injured a 30-year-old male in the 4600 block of W. Erie (11th District) on July 29.The offender will appear in Central Bond Court, located at 2600 S. California, on August 24. No additional information is available at this time.
