NYPD Investigating Astor Avenue Shooting

BRONX, NY – On Monday an unknown individual discharged a firearm multiple times towards a group of people. at 790 Astor Avenue in the Bronx.

The incident took place at approximately 7 pm, and the individual was last seen fleeing on foot northbound on Barnes Avenue. Miraculously, no one was injured in this incident.

The assailant is described as a 5’10” to 6’ tall male with a light complexion, slim build, and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a green sweatshirt with a white design on the front, gray pants, and black sneakers.

The New York City Police Department is actively seeking any information related to this incident. Individuals with information are encouraged to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
