NYPD Investigating Assault of 68-Year-Old Man in Brooklyn

NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Friday, August 11, at around 3:50 am, two unidentified individuals attacked a 68-year-old man near Montauk Avenue and Pitkin Avenue.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the individuals involved.

The two assailants struck the victim on his face and body, one using a stick and the other using an unspecified object.


They then fled westbound on Pitkin Avenue. The victim was taken by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County for treatment of his injuries.

The New York City Police Department is investigating the assault. Members of the public with information are asked to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
