Thugs Force Man to Make $150 Cash App Transfer Using Force, Intimidation

NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Sunday, August 20, around 2:30 a.m., a 27-year-old male was robbed at an apartment building located at 1382 College Avenue.

The victim had pre-arranged a meeting with an unknown individual, who was accompanied by a second person.

Upon his arrival, both individuals demanded money and restricted his movement until he complied.


The victim transferred $150 via Cash App to an account provided by the perpetrators, who then let him leave.

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the two individuals. It is believed that the culprits remained inside the apartment after the incident.
