Police Seek Suspect in Armed Robbery of Schuylkill County Mini Mart

SHEPPTON, PA – On Monday, the Pennsylvania State Police Troop L – Frackville Station is investigating an armed robbery at Sheppton Mini Mart on Center Street in East Union Township, Schuylkill County.

At approximately 9:15 p.m., a white male suspect entered the store brandishing a black handgun with a brown handle.

The suspect forced employees to the ground and took $700 from the cash register. Before leaving, he forced the employees into the beer cooler and turned off the interior lights of the store.

The suspect was last seen heading north along State Route 924 toward Hazle Township, Luzerne County.

The suspect was described as walking with a limp and was wearing a black ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, gray gloves, and black and white sneakers.
